Reimagining care through justice, compassion, and community

About
our company

Midnight Moon Mental Health was born from a deep passion for education, advocacy, and meaningful support. Rooted in lived experience and clinical expertise, this consulting practice exists to empower professionals, community groups, and individuals to better understand and respond to the complexities of mental health, grief, and neurodivergence.

Many people — clinicians and community members alike — struggle to talk about grief, loss, medical diagnoses, and the emotional impact of life-altering experiences. These are difficult, often avoided conversations. Midnight Moon offers a calm, compassionate space to face them with clarity, dignity, and non-violent communication.

With a special focus on neurodivergent individuals and those living with complex mental health needs, Midnight Moon provides trauma-informed, justice-rooted guidance. Whether through professional training, public education, or one-on-one consultation, we help people engage with hard topics in grounded, transformative ways.

Our Services

  • Hypnosis is a focused, relaxed state of awareness that can support personal growth, reduce stress, and enhance clarity. Many people find hypnosis helpful for building healthier habits, increasing motivation, deepening mindfulness, and accessing inner resources.

At Midnight Moon Mental Health, hypnosis is offered as a complementary wellness tool, not a form of therapy or a substitute for mental health treatment. It is not used to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychological conditions.

Please note: In accordance with state regulatory guidelines, hypnosis services are not available to residents of Washington, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, or Hawaii.

If you are currently in crisis or in need of mental health support, please reach out to a licensed mental health professional in your area, contact, 988 or go to your nearest emergency room

  • Coaching for neurodivergent people offers collaborative, strengths-based support designed to help you set goals, develop strategies, and build systems that work with your brain—not against it. Whether you're navigating executive functioning challenges, building confidence, exploring identity, or creating sustainable routines, coaching is a flexible, affirming partnership rooted in practical action and self-awareness.

Coaching is not psychotherapy. While therapy often focuses on processing past experiences, healing emotional wounds, and treating mental health conditions, coaching is future-oriented. It supports personal growth and goal achievement, without diagnosing or treating mental health issues. Coaching empowers you to harness your strengths, make meaningful changes, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

If you're looking for support tailored to your neurodivergent experience—without the clinical focus of therapy—coaching might be a great fit.

I created and ran the children’s grief program at a major New York City children’s hospital through COVID.

Whether you're navigating a client's traumatic loss, supporting a neurodivergent client with high support needs, addressing vicarious grief in your workplace, or seeking to build a more affirming, non-pathologizing clinical lens, consultation offers a grounded, collaborative space to reflect, ask questions, and grow in confidence and competence.

    I work with:

    • Therapists and counselors (licensed or pre-licensed)

    • Social workers, psychologists, and school-based mental health staff

    • Clinical supervisors and agency leaders

    • Interns and graduate students seeking grief- or trauma-informed mentorship

Consultation is not supervision and does not fulfill licensure hours, but it is a space for nuanced, case-specific, or systems-level support tailored to your needs.
